Hello and welcome. First, I am 60 years young. I was born in 1948 when times were much different. I developed an interest in fitness, probably from my mother watching Jack LaLaine daily on television. In 1970 I began training with weights and except for a minor hiatus now and then I have been training to this day. My earliest hero was John Grimek.
My lovely wife asked me to train her. I took on the duty, just to see how serious she was and how devoted. She has been training for a few years now and has made great progress. She does the same exercises I do for the most part.
Once in a while it is desireable to try a new exercise, particularly with a muscle group that is not responding any longer to the same old thing. It has to be a worthwhile exercise that challenges the muscle and the mind.
